A really quick update this time. If you are in the greater Victoria (BC, Canada) area this Saturday — and you’re looking for gifts for readers in your life (including yourself) — stop by the Holiday Book Fair. I realize I’ve left it too late for you to book tickets :)
In regards to writing, I’m so close to the end of book 4 in The Lyra Cycle. Of course, once the writing is done, the hard part begins. I am keeping Shiny New Idea in a box, which is also really difficult.
Books for your TBR shelf
No particular books to share this week, though I’ve recently finished John Scalzi’s The Interdependency (aff) series. I enjoyed the characterization, especially Kiva Lagos and the King.
I also stayed up late last night finishing In the Lives of Puppets (aff) by TJ Klune, author of The House in the Cerulean Sea. I love his books so much. They’re lovely. They hit me in the feels.
