Okay, I haven’t actually gone surfing. The waters around here are too cold for me. But I am on a mini vacation. I’m spending a lot of time looking at the waves hoping to spot wildlife. So far, there’s mostly been kelp otters and driftwood seals.
Hopefully my luck improves. Though I’m also passing the time reading and writing a short story in my scifi world, neither of which of all that conducive to wildlife spotting. However, beach combing does inspire ideas for alien creatures. It’s mysterious world under the waves.
While I’m on vacation, I still have fantastic reads to share. A Scarlet Fever is in this huge boxset of urban fantasy & paranormal romance books — it’s in good company! And you can pick it up for free.
If you’re looking for a shorter read, my author co-conspirator has a new story on the Armchair Alien site.
And thank you all for making the launch of The Lyra Cycle 3 — A Broken Fighter on Bloody Sands — so great.
Happy reading!
